Arkansas State got exactly what it needed Saturday night.

The Red Wolves bounced back from their season-opening loss at Memphis with a 52-7 win over West Georgia at Centennial Bank Stadium, evening their record at 1-1 before the schedule takes a significant jump with a trip to TCU.

The final score was lopsided, but the game wasn’t perfect. There were plenty of positives for Butch Jones’ team, along with a couple of areas that could become much bigger problems against the Horned Frogs.
