There has never been a better time to be a fan of Sun Belt Conference football.
For years, the Group of Five conversation has revolved around one or two nationally relevant brands. Boise State. Memphis. Tulane. Liberty. More recently, UNLV has emerged as another program capable of crashing the College Football Playoff conversation, while Western Michigan has positioned itself to make noise this season.
Those programs deserve every bit of the attention they receive.
But when the discussion shifts from the best team to the best conference, there is only one answer.
It’s the Sun Belt.
