Kickoff Time Adjusted for A-State’s Oct. 4 Matchup with Texas State
Arkansas State football’s home game against Texas State on Saturday, Oct. 4, has been moved to a 3 p.m. kickoff after being selected for a nationally televised broadcast on ESPNU.
Originally scheduled for 6 p.m., the Red Wolves and Bobcats will now meet at Centennial Bank Stadium in the mid-afternoon slot to accommodate the network’s coverage.
The schedule adjustment also impacts Arkansas State volleyball, which will now host Southern Miss at Noon inside First National Bank Arena. As part of a special ticket promotion, fans can use a ticket from either the football or volleyball contest for admission to both events.
The football clash will mark the 13th all-time meeting between A-State and Texas State. It also represents the first season since 2022 in which the Red Wolves will have at least three home games televised nationally.
Before returning home, Arkansas State opens Sun Belt Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 27, at ULM. That game is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
