Arkansas State head coach Butch Jones knows the question everyone wants answered.

Who will be the Red Wolves’ starting quarterback?

With preseason camp just weeks away, Jones made it clear during Sun Belt Conference Football Media Days that the competition remains wide open, and he’s in no hurry to make a decision.

Instead, he plans to let the position sort itself out naturally.

“I’ve never been one to set timelines,” Jones said. “Why would you restrict yourself on deciding who the quarterback is? It’s got to happen organically.”
