Arkansas State couldn’t have scripted a better start to its 2025 football season. Under the late-summer sun at Centennial Bank Stadium, the Red Wolves roared to life on both sides of the ball, rolling past Southeast Missouri in a performance that blended veteran leadership with breakout moments from emerging stars.

The victory gave Arkansas State its 10th season-opening win since moving to the FBS ranks in 1992. It also improved the program’s home record to 10–3 over its last 13 games dating back to 2023 — a sign that Centennial Bank Stadium is becoming one of the tougher places to play in the Sun Belt.
