Arkansas State Releases Depth Chart Ahead of Season Opener Against SEMO
Arkansas State has released its official depth chart for Saturday’s season opener against Southeast Missouri, giving Red Wolves fans their first detailed look at how the roster will line up to start the 2025 campaign.
At quarterback, Jaylen Raynor, a 6’0” junior, holds the starting role, with redshirt freshman Josh Flowers listed as the backup. In the backfield, the Red Wolves will lean on Ja’Quez Cross and Kenyon Clay at running back, while Tyler Little and Tyler Fortenberry anchor the tight end position.
The receiving corps is highlighted by veteran targets Corey Rucker Jr., Hunter Summers, and Chauncy Cobb, supported by Jordan Smart and Jaylen Bonelli. Up front, Riley McGehee will start at left tackle, while Mason Myersand Will Saxton provide stability on the interior of the offensive line.
Defensively, Ethan Hassler is slotted at JACK linebacker, while the defensive front features Cody Sigler, Chris Boti, and Demarcus Hendricks. The secondary is led by standout safety Brandon Barnes, alongside Terry Kirksey and Avante Dickerson at cornerback.
Special teams duties will fall to kicker Clune Van Andel, punter Jackson Waller, and return specialists Ja’Quez Crossand Aaron Blancas.
Head coach Butch Jones enters his fifth season at the helm, aiming to build on last year’s momentum.
