Arkansas State will enter fall camp searching for a new starting quarterback after the departure of Jaylen Raynor.
Coach Butch Jones and offensive coordinator Garrett Altman evaluated several candidates during spring practice, but no clear starter emerged. Ethan Crawford, Trey Owens, Drew Dickey and Jérémy St-Hilaire are expected to receive the most attention when preseason workouts begin.
Each quarterback brings a different skill set, leaving Arkansas State with options but little certainty ahead of its Sept. 5 opener at Memphis.
