Arkansas State offensive lineman Tristian Smith embraces competition, leadership role in fall camp

Arkansas State offensive lineman Tristian Smith believes the Red Wolves may have their deepest and most talented offensive line since he arrived in Jonesboro.

Following the team’s fourth fall camp practice, Smith said the competition along the offensive front has been intense, with players competing for starting positions and playing time on a daily basis.

“It’s intense,” Smith said. “Like I said, if you started last year, you might not start this year. It’s how it is. You’ve got to come back and earn it every day.”
