If Arkansas State is going to make a push toward the top of the Sun Belt West Division in 2026, the linebacker room may have to become the heartbeat of the defense.

Unlike some position groups that enter fall camp with major question marks, the Red Wolves appear to have a linebacker corps built around veteran experience, transfer production and players who have already logged significant snaps in college football.

The biggest question isn’t whether Arkansas State has enough talent at linebacker.

The question is whether the group can turn that experience into consistency and become one of the Sun Belt’s better units.
