Arkansas State Heads to Mobile for Tuesday Night Clash with South Alabama
The Arkansas State Red Wolves return to action under the midweek lights as they travel to Mobile, Alabama, for a Tuesday night Sun Belt showdown against the South Alabama Jaguars at Hancock Whitney Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
The Red Wolves (2–4, 1–1 Sun Belt) are looking to build consistency after an uneven first half of the season. Butch Jones’ squad has shown flashes of strong offensive potential but remains in search of a complete performance on both sides of the ball.
South Alabama (1–5, 0–2) has endured its own early-season struggles under head coach Major Applewhite but has proven to be dangerous at home — particularly in tight, physical matchups.
The series between the two programs has been razor-close historically, with Arkansas State holding a 7–6 edge. Eight of those contests have been decided by 10 points or fewer, including last year’s 18–16 Red Wolves win in Jonesboro.
