Arkansas State quietly put together one of the more impressive turnarounds in the 2024 college football season, finishing 8-5 overall and 5-3 in Sun Belt Conference play, capped by a 38-31 victory over Bowling Green in the 68 Ventures Bowl. Yet despite their success, the Red Wolves were overshadowed by league powers Louisiana and Texas State—two programs that handed A-State its most lopsided losses of the year.
