A-State Home Football Game Against Southern Miss Elevated to ESPN2 or ESPNU; Kickoff Set for 11:00 AM
The Arkansas State football team’s upcoming home game against Southern Miss on Saturday, Nov. 8, has been scheduled for an 11:00 a.m. kickoff, after being selected for national television coverage on ESPN2 or ESPNU.
The final broadcast network will be confirmed by ESPN and the Sun Belt Conference on Saturday night, but the early kickoff marks another major showcase for the Red Wolves on a national stage.
With this selection, Arkansas State will have six nationally televised games this season — tied for the most in program history. The matchup against Southern Miss also marks the fourth home game to receive national coverage in 2025, setting a new school record.
The Nov. 8 contest will be the 15th all-time meeting between the Red Wolves and the Golden Eagles. Southern Miss enters the matchup 6-2 overall and 4-0 in Sun Belt play after an open date this week.
Before the showdown with the Eagles, A-State (4-4, 3-1 Sun Belt) will travel to Troy on Saturday, Nov. 1, for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff on ESPNU as conference play continues.
