Arkansas State’s final home game of the season ended in dramatic — and devastating — fashion Thursday night, as the Red Wolves were stopped at the Louisiana 2-yard line on the final play in a 34–30 loss at Centennial Bank Stadium.

A-State (5–6, 4–3 SBC) ran 14 plays in the closing minutes and had one final snap with three seconds left, but quarterback Jaylen Raynor was dragged down just shy of the goal line as time expired, allowing the Ragin’ Cajuns (5–6, 4–3 SBC) to escape with the win.
